A WTC gang of 20 participants/6 teams on a swim-run-repeat gallivant around Hampstead Heat! ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป20 spectacular performances!! ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป6 members among the first 15 crossing the finish line, with special mention for @matthewpatey third overall!!! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ Well done everyone! PEOPLE OF WTC | LEGENDS EDITION MARION | 13-14.0 PEOPLE OF WTC | LEGENDS EDITION MARION | 13-14.07.2026 | LAC Lร‰MAN CROSSING | 70KM+ OF AWESOMENESS! Our very own WTC President, making history... again! July 13, at 17:08, @marionswimsacross waltzed into the water of Lake Geneva / Lac Lรฉman, by Chรขteau de Chillon and, after swimming through the evening, the night and into the next day, she touched shore in Geneva, 70km and less than 30 hrs later, completing one of the toughest marathon swims in the world: the iconic Signature swim!! ๐Ÿคฏ - Some serious Marion-grit-and-determination on display throughout ๐Ÿ”ฅ - An incredible support crew in tow taking care of her โค๏ธ - Loads of telepathic cheering and love sent her way ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป To put the feat into perspective... - More than twice the straight-line distance across the English Channel... (which she also crossed back in 2023!!!) - About the combined length of Loch Lomond and Loch Ness!! Just epic! Since 1986, only 17 swimmers (10 women), have officially completed the crossing and earned Solo Legend status from the Lake Geneva Swimming Association @lakegenevasa No French woman on that list ..yet.... ...time for some updates to those stats!!! ๐Ÿ’ช Madame la Prรฉsidente, quite a way to celebrate the 14th of July!๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ต Congratulations Marion! ๐Ÿ… MEDAL MONDAY ๐Ÿ… three weeks of racing (and WTC ๐Ÿ… MEDAL MONDAY ๐Ÿ… three weeks of racing (and WTC colours flying everywhere).. to catch up on!! 21 June In the heart of Rutland at Rutland water Nick took on the Dambuster Triathlon, snatching a 3rd in age group, standards distance, AND securing qualification for the 2027 World Championship in Hamburg!!๐Ÿ™Œ At the same event, WTC sponsoree @soph.tri stormed to 1st woman and 6th overall in the ParaTri Sprint!!! ๐Ÿ’ช 28 June @anayawakefield represented WTC at the iconic Windrush Aquathlon at Brockwell Park in London, while up north, in Kielder Forest, Phil added another podium to the collection with silver in AG at the British & English Middle Distance Championships!!!! 5 July --> Racing galore! ๐Ÿ”ธ Camille, Jenn and Laura enjoyed a brilliant day racing the Dorney Sprint Triathlon!!๐Ÿ’ฅ ๐Ÿ”ธWTC took over Holkham! WTC flags proudly flying at the Outlaw Holkham events campsite all weekend! @anya_farrow , @trilinsey , @matthewpatey , @jonathanbird93 and Walter took on the Outlaw Half: 70.3 miles of massive performances ! ๐Ÿ… Medalโ€ฆ Wednesday! ๐Ÿ… Catching up on WTC adventur ๐Ÿ… Medalโ€ฆ Wednesday! ๐Ÿ… Catching up on WTC adventures across latitudes from the past couple of weeks or soโ€ฆ Summer vibes all over โ˜€๏ธ On June 7th, Camille represented WTC in a sprint triathlon in her hometown just outside Paris, with a cross-country twist and a mountain bike leg for a change.. Only good vibes! ๐Ÿ™Œ On June 13th, Nick was down in super-hot Tarragona, Spain for the European Triathlon Championships and delivered yet another outstanding result, placing 12th in his AG in the standard distance triathlon!!! Fantastic ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”ฅ Meanwhile in Dorset, an all-female WTC crew took part in an epic edition of the Studland SwimRun, organised by @i.swim.run.uk , podium powered by @precisionfandh ๐ŸŒŠ Fantastic weather, stunning landscapes and WTC represented across all distances! Short ~8.7km course for Camille and Pieranna, ~11.1km middle course for Emily, Kristin and Laura, while, endurance queens Erika and Lucy smashed the ~23.6km long course with an incredible 3rd place finish as a female team ๐Ÿฅ‰๐Ÿ”ฅ Word is that everyone experienced some interesting mind trips along the wayโ€ฆ from sudden existential questions during some swim sections (๐Ÿ˜…)..to wonder and adrenaline highs on those cliffs!... we suspect weโ€™ll be back next year in force for more ๐Ÿ‘€ Huuuge congratulations to everyone ๐Ÿ™Œ

And hereโ€™s a huge celebration parade of what weโ€™ve been up to.. ! A multisport and international bank holiday weekend: ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿšด๐Ÿƒ In Italy, Jake had an โ€œabsolute blastโ€ at Ironman 70.3 Venice-Jesolo! .. smashing performance! ๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿƒ Further south in Olbia, Sardinia, Pieranna raced the @olbia_21 Half Marathon: stunning scenery and a fantastic event powered by @paoolbia ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿšด Back in the UK, @philippaterson took on the Madison & District CC 50 Mile Time Trial, to finish 4th overall!! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿƒ Meanwhile @Andy cruised through the Victoria Park Half Marathon in London ๐Ÿ’ช ๐Ÿƒ And on May 4th Laura, @libgeeksgirl & @Emily joined the 12-hour community relay at @willesden_sports_centre Centre, in partnership with @trackacademy_ and @queensparkharriers. Fast forward a few daysโ€ฆ no signs of slowing down: ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿšด๐Ÿƒ @Camille completed a sprint triathlon at Dorney Lakeโ€ฆ (+ 20km bike commute !.) and loved it! ๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿšด @mrslatter tackled the North London Dirt: 70-mile gravel event through Essex and North London... hardcore ! ๐ŸŽ“ At Gladstone Park, our coaches @descrinion and Richard led a brilliant transition skills session ...and as a warm-up, Des went for his 100th Parkrun-Gladstone Parkโ€ฆ (although word is heโ€™s close 200 across all Parkrun locations!!)๐Ÿ‘ ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿšด๐Ÿƒ On Sunday, Andy was back in action again at the Hatch End Sprint Tri! Fantastic event by @hatchendtri ๐Ÿ™Œ ๐Ÿƒ Somewhere in Surrey, @Matt completed a stealth marathon..โ€ฆ always an option! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ Up in Bristol, @erikulikova powered through the Great Bristol Half Marathon 2026... iconic run! ๐Ÿƒ In Staines, @gforceuk raced the Staines 10K .. back in the game after injury! ๐Ÿƒ In North Yorkshire, @hscottvariety took on the Ripon 10K...fun, โ€œbeautiful scenery and some big old hills!โ€ what else? ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿšด๐Ÿƒ And last but definitely not least, out in Llanelli, Wales, for one of the @brittri Paratri Super Series races, our @soph.tri took the WIN in the P1 category๐Ÿ’ช Massive congratulations to EVERYONE!!!๐Ÿ™Œ More to come ๐Ÿ‘€
Wow... you all still in awe of the exceptional fea Wow... you all still in awe of the exceptional feats at the London Marathon?? An extra-ordinary edition, mind-blowing new records in the female and male categories, with the 2-hour barrier coming down officially for the first time! ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ And, for some even more relatable inspiration, a new Guinness world record for the largest number of finishers in a marathon: 59,830 humans carrying their stories, causes, and their very own WHYs to the finish line! Our @ฤ€nya, @Danny, and @Alex right among them, with amazing performances.!!! Proud of you guys! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ™Œ And congrats to all the London marathoners! Jurassic Coast Epic feat from Erika & Lucy who went full ultra and completed the Jurassic Coast Challenge! Starting Friday 27th, they ticked off a marathon (and more) a day: 45.3 km + 42 km + 43.6 km --> Charmouth to Studland: Hats off ladies!!!!!! ๐Ÿ‘‘ ๐Ÿ‘‘ โ˜€๏ธTRAINING CAMP. Lanzarote Meanwhile, Linsey, Anja & Marion took things international landing in Lanzarote for a proper "pre-season training extravaganza".. swimming, riding, running, (fly)stretching, repeat ... .. then there was the yellow duck ... ๐Ÿฆ† The iconic float was spotted out at sea hours at a time, firmly in tow behind Marion training for her next challenge: Lake Geneva crossing!!!! ๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐ŸŠ There'll be more on this... and the duck! ๐Ÿ‘€ ๐Ÿ’ช HYROX . London Here in London, Des & Jono teamed up (again) for a HYROX - PRO DOUBLES race, on Saturday Last-minute lineup change, with Jono stepping in to replace an injured teammate! .. 1 hour and 7 min later job done! ๐Ÿ… MEDAL TUESDAY ๐Ÿ… Great performances from WTCers ๐Ÿ… MEDAL TUESDAY ๐Ÿ… Great performances from WTCers last weekend , out everywhere and doing all sorts, from aquathlons to sportives to city and trail running!!! โžก๏ธ Emily, Helen and Laura headed to the coast for the Endurance Life Sussex 10K down in Eastbourne. Sea air, trails, big smilesโ€ฆ quite the day out! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ โžก๏ธ In Cambridgeshire, Walter rolled through the 127 km long course of the iconic Cambridge Classic Sportive! Kicking off the cycling year in style! ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™‚๏ธ โžก๏ธ Westbound Ros braved a season opener at the Hampton Pool Chilly Aquathlon! Great atmosphere, great spirit : perfect season starter! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ โžก๏ธ Further west in Windsor, Raphael took on the Dorney Lake Half Marathon and flew around the course in a solid 1:33:00! Not messing around. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธโšก โžก๏ธ Camille went international, running the Paris Half Marathon on a hot sunny day, mid-race hose pipe showers to cool down and a massive cheering crew in tow!
