WTC's endurance queen, Marion, took part in the @t24_xtrem_triathlon at the end of September. This is a mammoth feat onsisting of 13k swim / 220k bike / 50k run and Marion came away in a fabulous 3rd place! ๐Ÿ‘‘ WTC were out in force at the @vitalitylondon10k on Sunday 28 September, with excellent running from Anja, Tom, Claire, Abi, Jono, Des and Ellen! (Sorry if we missed anyone!) ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ Our very own WTC triathlon and aquathlon took place on 28 September, with competitors racing around our lovely course in Willesden. There were smiles, gritted teeth, personal bests and most important lots of cake! Lucy and Leo took part in the Coniston Swim Run in the Lake District and came 2nd! ๐Ÿฅˆ Des, Jono and Raphael fought it out at the Eton Dorney Triathlon on Sunday. Jono was 5th, Des 9th, and Raphael was 4th in his age group and 9 mins quicker than last year ๐Ÿ’ช ๐Ÿšด Nick and Anya completed @swimserpentine , with Nick getting his London Classics medal! ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿป If this has inspired you, there are still some spots in our aquathlon and triathlon which is taking place THIS SUNDAY at Willesden Sports Centre. Three teams from WTC embarked on a gallivant around Hampstead Heath, swimming in the lido and all three ponds, and running between each. What a fab event! With hot temperatures, a puncture and a tough course, it was a tough day out but they both did brilliantly! ๐Ÿšฒ โšช Raphael smashed his first middle distance triathlon in Cardiff - finishing in 5hrs 40 and 4th in his age group ๐Ÿ’ช @triathloncymru โšซ Camille completed her eighth half marathon of the year! So many amazing achievements: ๐Ÿ”ด Lucy and Erika took part in the @challengerunning Backyard Ultra, where you run 4.167 miles (known as a yard) every hour for as long as you can. Erika did 15 yards for her first 100+k run, and Lucy managed 20 yards! Amazing work ladies!๐Ÿ† โšช Biscuit and Leo smashed it at @blenheimpalacetriathlon. Biscuit had a brilliant race, finishing 1st in her age group. Leo took part in the weekend warrior, where you do as many triathlons as you can over the two days. Leo managed FIVE, despite losing her wetsuit to another participant part way through - very impressive! ๐Ÿ’ช โšซ Tom had an amazing time at his first sprint triathlon at @dorneytriathlon. A few highlights: โšช 16 WTC'ers took on the @eventsatw mixed triathlon relay at Box End on Saturday.ย  Every team member completed a 350m swim, 7.7km bike and 1km run.ย Fantastic day out and Team Walruses even took home silver in the British Champs! ๐Ÿฅˆ ๐Ÿ”ด Marion returned to Box End on Sunday to take part in the Centurion 100km triathlon. Many club members took on the @londonmarathon โ€”well done to Jenn, Becca, Felix, Danny and DJ! Special mention to Kristin, who casually ran a reverse marathon the night before (as you do!) Camille and Pierrana had an amazing time at the Magna Carta Half Marathon. This was Pierrana's first half marathon, and Camille got a PB! Ellen took part in the @peak.divide, a 77km trail run between Manchester and Sheffield!
